Obituary for Catalina Flores Gonzalez
Catalina Flores Gonzalez, 90, died Sunday October 12, 2020 at Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born November 25 1929 in Chilapa, Oaxaca, Mexico.
Catalina was born and raised in Mexico. She was a hard working mother who raised three succesful sons. She came to the United States 15 years ago to live out her sunset years in the company of her sons, grandchildren and daughter-in-laws. She was artistic, creating palm hats and embroidering wonderful pieces. She was described as a wonderful cook, caring mother-in-law and full of faith in God.
She is survived by her sons-Crispin (Sylvia) Ortiz of Garden City, Kansas, Leonardo (Araceli) Leon of Washington State, and German (Joaquina) Ortiz of Wichita, Kansas; 5 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
Family will hold a Funeral Service and Burial in Mexico at a later date.
