Obituary for Greg A. Geier
Greg A. Geier, 63, died Thursday May 21, 2020 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born March 30, 1957 in Garden City the son of Alex and Rosa (Billinger) Geier.
Greg attended public schools in, and graduated from Garden City. He was the owner and operator of Wrenchtech Unlimited for many years. He had a passion and talent for cars, be it fixing a mechanical issue or a complete restoration. He loved old muscle cars and would even take part in the local parade with his Model A.
Greg was the type of guy that would give the shirt off his back to someone in need. He had the unique ability to love and be loved which resulted in special relationships with many of his nieces and nephews. Always eager to help, share a smile, or tell a joke. He loved history and travel and would create many memories with his daughter visiting various places on their summer breaks together.
He is survived by his Daughter- Brandi Rebecca Geier of Monroe, Georgia, Brothers- John,of Dodge City, Galen of Colorado, Duane of Colorado, and Mike of Garden City, Sister- Diane of Colorado, Sister-in-law – Annette of Jetmore. Greg is preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers- Brian and Alex, and Sisters- Karen and Roseanne.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday May 27, 2020 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The service will also be available via Facebook Live. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Greg Geier Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home any additional funds will be given to the American Cancer Society.
