Gail E Sharp wishes to express his condolences to the family. He is the last remaining first cousin to Joyce on the Durham side of the family. He & wife Millie visited Joyce a couple of times after she moved into the health center. From his childhood, he has many fond recollections of family dinners at the Mary Church home. He will always remember her as a sweet loving family member. Being elderly himself, Gail will not be present for her memorial service.

To the family of Joyce: I am so sorry for your loss. She was a special lady. I started piano lessons with Joyce when I was in the first grade. My daughter also took lessons from her. I always enjoyed seeing her while at the nursing home. She will be missed.
