Obituary for Luke Cooley
Luke Cooley, 48, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born June 2, 1972 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Robert Verne & Sue (Martindale) Cooley.
Luke has been a lifetime resident of Garden City where he attended Garden City schools. Luke worked for Stanion Wholesale and Wesco Distribution. He later worked as a mechanic for Action Motor Sports. He enjoyed motorcycles, small gas engines, and guns.
Survivors include a daughter Randi Lynn & husband Travis Webb of Sublette, Kansas; his mother Sue & husband Bob Trosper of Garden City; a sister Sonja & husband Chris Unruh of Holcomb, Kansas; two nieces Amber Unruh and Bailey Unruh; a nephew Logan Fears; and numerous cousins. Luke is preceded in death by his father Robert Verne Cooley.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City with Pastor Steve Ensz officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorials given to the Luke Cooley Memorials fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
