Maria de Jesus Gonzalez, 76, died Tuesday September 15, 2020 in Wichita, Kansas. She was born April 20, 1944 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico the daughter of Salvador and Guadalupe (Jaramillo) Calzada. She married Jose T, Gonzalez on July 16, 1977. He died August 18, 1990.
Maria and her husband started their family in Nebraska in 1978 and moved to Garden City in 1983. Most recently she was a resident of Pioneer Manor in Coldwater Kansas. She had various employers in Finney County, having worked at PSSI and The Red Baron. She enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, dancing, and listening to music. She loved and cherished her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her Children-Mary Varela & Jose A. Gonzalez; Grandchildren-Yeni Burciaga, Carlos Guevara Jr., Mark Anthony Guevara, Karla Guevara, Adelaida Varela & Camila Gonzalez.
