Obituary for Michael Lynn "Mike" Legleiter
Michael Lynn “Mike” Legleiter, 66, died Monday, June 15, 2020 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born January 24, 1954 in Hays, Kansas the son of Paul & LaVera (Speier) Legleiter.
A resident of Garden City, Kansas since 1982, he was part owner of Peterbilt of Garden City for many years.
On June 15, 1974, he married Mary Thompson in Grand Island, Nebraska. She survives. Other survivors include a brother Tom & wife Anna Legleiter of Freeland, Michigan; and a sister Paula Sue Murtonen of Katy, Texas. Mike is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Mark Troy Legleiter.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 19, 2020 at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. There will be no calling hours. The family suggests memorials given to the American Cancer Society in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
