Nancy Lobatos Herrera, 33, died June 27, 2020 in Pratt, Kansas. She was born in Zacatecas, Mexico October 26, 1987.
Nancy came to California at the age of three with her parents before moving to Garden City two years later. She attended Garden City Schools. Currently she was working as a cashier at Casey’s in Pratt. Her co-workers, family and friends remember her as fearless, carefree and outspoken. She had a big heart, loved deeply, and felt deeply. She was strong but human. She was a creative cook and enjoyed cooking for her kids. She left this world at peace.

A Funeral Mass will be held 12:00 pm Friday July 3, 2020 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Garden City, with Rev. Jacob Schneider as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. A Rosary will be held at 5:00 pm Thursday July 2, 2020 at Garnand Funeral Home, 412 N 7th, Garden City, KS 67846. Friends may call from 10:00am to 8:00 pm on Thursday July 2, 2020 also at Garnand Funeral Home. The family suggest memorial to the Nancy Lobatos Herrera Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
